On the way to the Great Sand Dunes NP

Stopped at the Garden of Gods in Colorado Springs and learnt all about the various rock layers below the Earth’s surface & how these majestic looking rocks, sticking out of a very different terrain around them, came in to being.

The snow capped mountain in the background is the famous Pike’s Peak.
